Hey ben thats pretty nice. It looks really alot better, but if im gonna be seriosuly picky, perhaps her shoulders are kinda quite wide? Mind, its alot better than i can do, Im very impressed!
Hehehehe cheers dude. You know working on a 3d character turns into something really weird after you've been at the same char for a while, you actually lose the ability to see what looks right and what looks out of proportion. I guess it's cus you kinda get used to what the char looks like and begin to accept that as the natural human shape. This thread has been a lot of help to the progression of this model. I thank you all <patriotic salute>
P.S. She now has a gun, a utility belt her legs aren't wonky! Starting to look more like a game character and less like an oddly dressed chimp!

Uses liquid nitrogen gas pressure to project solid steel pins at great velocities. The pins have a hollow centre, which allows the freezing cold nitrogen gas to flow up inside the pin, instantly cooling it to around -180 Celcuis. When the pin pierces a living organism, it causes instant immobilastion due to freezing of the blood. It will almost always disrupt the targets internal temperature, causing heart failure within a few seconds. It is used primarily as a sniper weapon because of its instant kill capabilities, and lack of the light or sound that would be produced by a conventional weapon.
TC12mm "meteor" pistol
----------------------
A powerful pistol that fires 12mm tungsten carbide slugs. It is capable of firing once per trigger press, or firing bursts of up to 5 shots. The slugs are coated in a solid chemical formula which liquifies when the slug is fired. The formula is very reactive, which is why the barrel and frontal cooling prongs are gold plated. When the chemical reacts with oxygen in its liquified state, it bursts into white hot flames. This gives the impression that the gun is throwing fiery meteors, hence the nickname. This is the weapon of choice of the yet unnamed character above.
Heh seems convoluted i know, but i'm quite into the idea of futuristic weaponry

I keep thinking that the eyes may be a bit too far from each other. If you look at your own face, you'll see that the "corner" of the eyes start pretty much where the nose's edge is. Hope you can figure out what i'm talking about
I know what you're getting at... I just tried putting her eyes a little closer together but she ended up looking semi retarded so i decided to leave her face as it is for now. Thanks anyway for the advice though. And thanks for the compliment.

Phart, he did say he did it in his "beloved 3DSmax" lol...so, he used 3DS max for the character and animation and stuff. I'm not so sure though if 3DS Max is better than Lightwave...maybe its just my preference...anyways, nice looking character and weapons ben, and nice ideas for the weapons as well.

Oh yeah, Maya is definitely the best out of all modelling applications...the features and the things it can do are just so nice and wonderful...I had a...*cough*...copy of maya for awhile, and I prefered it over Lightwave and 3DS, and found it was just so much easier to do the things you wanted in it, and you had more power to make things more realistic with ease.
