What dya mean!? It's a great show! http://www.channel4.com/life/microsites/F/fword/index.html
Generally, people who create klik games are generally those with something to share or prove to themselves. It's a hobby, a little something to pass the time etc That's what the point is. If you don't see the point - why do you visit this site? :S
It's where the money is going that is the problem, not the fact that money is being made. May I refer you to steve's quote above:
"If for example you spent a year doing up a classic car and someone comes along and steals it and sells it on would you just say "oh well, at least someone is driving it! God bless them!"
It's fraudulent and a form of plagiarism to sell FREEWARE games and for you to earn the profit off of somebody else's work. That's why it's wrong PeterD. No one's saying you can't have an opinion, but the case of the matter is here that the people that make the games have the right over them, full stop.

You can either shut up or not, but if you keep arguing that selling freeware games is a good thing then people will look at you as an idiot. It's almost like saying stealing a pair of Levis pants is right cuz you'll be advertsing Levis when walking in the street with them.

this guy has been making and successfully selling his click games for many, many years.
Just one example there Peter. I guess you have to take back what you've just said, huh? (remember lying is a sin - we don't want you making baby-jesus cry now.)

internation copyright laws hold that its quite illegal to sell anyone elses intellectual property for money (ie, their games). However, you're much more likely to get a ticket for doing half a mile over a speed limit. Its the least enforced law in existance.

I concur, stop with the bickering now.
I looked through the list of games he is "selling" and since there was a lot of big commercial titles there (quite a few Nintendo games etc) he'll most likely get stomped on in due time. Patience is a virtue

Selling our games for profit is muxh the same as making a copy of a playstation 2 game and selling it.
It's illegal even if we don't intend to sell it ourselves.
That should be quite obvious to anybody, so to argue for it is quite unusual peterD.
Also talking a load of nonsense is still stupid. Saying it's your 'opinion' is not a get out of jail free card.

As much as I can't really express my opinion on your posts thanks to admin-ness, PeterD, I do wholeheartedly agree with the views that other people have expressed on them.

Loffle, sent this to jacob@jacobwarren.com:
Dear Mr. Jacob Warren,
Hello sir, this is Bibin Moff, attourney representative of several people who are members of a certain site, who want to take legal action against the selling of said freeware games on your site jacobwarren.com. They have proposed two options:
1. For each game sold, the creator will receive 75% or higher the money earned
2. Remove all of the freeware games and learn to program games.
No, I'm not a lawyer. Nobody is taking legal action yet. But this is still Bibin Moff, telling you that selling freeware games is illegal, especially when the game itself has a screen that says to never distribute it for money!
The action I Shall be taking, even though one of my games is not there, is that I will launch a DoS attack on your website in the next 7 days unless you remove each game that you do not have adequate rights to sell.
'good' day,
Bibin Moff
Oh wait, "Delivery Status Notification, message failed"
¬_¬
Let's just start a DoS attack now
