Hey, anyone notice how there's a "1" at the end of all of his pages?
Btw, it 404's for me. The 'more info' link, that is.

Well no, it varies. Some of us are happy for our games to be reproduced indiscriminately, others like some control. I prefer to be emailed first so I can decide on a case-by-case basis.
Personally I'm not okay with compilations, because essentially with these bastards it's not just that they're my games: they're stealing other peoples' work without permission, so I don't want to support them. In the case of magazines it's different because it's a product that would sell whether or not it had freeware on it, and freeware is usually only a small part of the CD content. I like the emails because I like to know when they're published even though I don't ask for copies. Also there's a german mag I'm going to tell to fuck off next time since they've been pricks about it in the past.
Thing is we're the ones who put effort into our shit, and even though we let people play them for free we should still be entitled to some say in how they're used.

"Hello, I'm asking for your permission to put your game on our CD, and we promise we won't make any money off of your game."
"No hello, I'm taking your game and selling it so I can make some money."
Can't you see the difference, PeterD?

Once one big freeware site posts a game, you'll find a bunch of others do it too. Czech sites especially.

I don't really care what they do with the current games I have put online. But if you guys got games you really made effort in, it's totally wrong.

"Warning: This game is Shareware (free). IF YOU HAVE PAID MONEY FOR IT, EMAIL ME (xxx), THE COPS, THE FBI, OR WHOEVER. AND GO PUNCH WHOEVER SOLD IT TO YOU IN THE NOSE. YARR"
on the first load

Lol yeah, those czech sites list some of my games (of which completely suck tbh) which is nice
They put some traffic my way too so hats off to 'em. Least if they add my bad games now, they're sure to add my two decent soon-to-come games

Yeah I hate how they link to the actual files on your server ¬_¬ I wouldn't mind so much if they linked to the download PAGE which automatically downloads it for you - then at least it counts on the page as someone's downloaded it
