erathean, i'm not going to take crisism for you, not because i can't take critisism, but because you are dumb and by no means have enough skills to criticize my awesome work.
you don't know anything about 3d
I know that's not what the frame of a P38 looks like, fag.
If you can't take criticism don't post work.
I gave criticism now Dogzer is criticising me for criticising his awesome work. THIS IS HOW WE LEARN. If you can't take criticism criticism don't read the internet.
For a decent 3D modeler, you sure do take constructive criticism very badly... I don't think Radixes criticism was intended to be proven or make drastic changes to your model, it was him telling you something he saw in the model, regardless if it was right or not, take it or leave it, don't bitch about it.
You know, the bit I was talking about is in that image. It also makes a bunch of other mistakes pretty clear, so I've circled them for you. Because that's how nice I am.
There's nothing wrong with the model (well, besides the magazine lever being completely missing and the barrel not lining up), but it's not perfect either, so he can take this information or leave it.
I just noticed something else: the safety is too low.
Dogzer is the original. He's been in the community before phizzy even was even born, pwning n00bs with his mad trolling skills. Anyone who used #k&p (on IRC) while it was still live and running back in the day should know this. Obviously, that's way before any of you had internets.
I can't recall any post by phizzy that has made me fall out of my chair rofling, dogzer on the other hand is hilarious just like he's always been.
Hmmm...I'm not sure I've ever laughed when reading anything on this place, more like a disturbed sense of amusement...and I think Radix would take the cake for the most legitimately funny person...none of this "I'll make your eyeballs into airplanes" junk...anybody can be doing that stuff, its just finding a person who will stoop that low to catch a laugh.
oh yeah...thats a cool gun
I'm feeling a bit wella

TDC isn't entertaining.
Good work dogzer, now write an article about it.
"Isn't it always amazing how we characterize a person's intelligence by how closely their thinking matches ours?"
~Belgarath
Kind of don't agree with you there. You must have a base of known facts for you to have a valid opinion of something. For example, I know nothing about ballet, so I don't go around saying "That Darcy Bussell's shit, she couldn't plié to save her life".
But who is this person who knows nothing about music? Everybody hears music almost on a daily basis, from birth, so its impossible not to have any knowledge about it.
Niche subjects, like ballet and 3D modelling, often people will not know much about.
You gotta separate what's taste from what's techincal errors. Radix for example said he didn't like the trigger or something like that, he said he doesn't like things to be beveled or whatnot, i don't remember.
The thing is when you give critisism that's about your personal taste, you can't just say 'i dont like it', you gotta say what dont you like and why, otherwise it's no use!
Hearing music isn't learning or becoming of knowledge of its structure and compound. You wouldn't neccesariy be aware that a Gmaj7 chord is the perfect cadence to a C major, or that an Fmin7 uses the same notes as the Abmajor or G#major with an additional F note, etc.
True to say that music is a rather VAST and extemporaneous subject not having any set rules (though some may disagree, e.g. Bach) to what music exactly is, neither does it have a limit.
But I still say you don't need to be an expert on something to have an opinion on whether its good or not, otherwise everyone's opinion on everything would be invalid - and democracy wouldn't exist, surely?
Anyway I'm not taking this any further because I'm sure it'll get silly.
You don't have to have knowledge of music scales and whatnot to have a real knowledge of it. You can speak without knowing how to write . And to suggest that you need to know all that crap you just said is a bit silly.
You don't really have to be an "expert", just have enough knowledge to base your opinions on.
Funny stuff . It is not a pistol , because it won't work . Anyway, this quasi-pistol looks good , but not very . You are looking on original one and even cannot duplicate it?
I understand you Dogzer : you (as an author) think this pistol is better than others see it . Don't worry: I've the same .

Phizzy, Liking the pistol you made. I just loved the artistic use of meshsmooth there.
Dogzer, I think you are a fraud. I just can't believe that someone so childish ("shut up fuckers, you don't know anything about 3d - i win") would have the attention span to do 3d modelling.

Get Dogzer's humour already, lol.
Radix once made a super-n00b game with an AWESOME intro too once. Some people's humour here is just harsh.
Also, do not judge someone's abilities by how they talk.
