Heh, I already did my remake for the 20 event compo last year. It sucked less

I hesitate doing this, but just for the sake of longer games (Plus me being on constant slo-mo) I'm extending the compo to the end of June, 6/30/09, Tuesday!
I hope this gives everyone plenty of time to finish their games.
That's the new Tops sprite that I did. I also have one of him on all fours, but I'm not done with it and thus don't feel comfortable showing it just yet.
I had loads of trouble with something stupid but now everything's going smoothly. Now i'm just trying to decide what actions the player can do and how to implement them. I tried to add a punch but it looks awful...
Glad to hear it, Hayo! Having an awesome time too.
@AndyUK: Try starting with basic attacks, such as an uppercut. But in your case, we'll go with a punch. Animating is a pain in the arse for me, but quickly getting it over with makes everything go down the drain. Imo the best way to get a good animation is to have a guideline on doing them, which makes you more confident. The guideline is to act out the actions (If possible) yourself and study the movement of each of your limbs and then put it into frames. This is how I learned walking animations.
I am starting to wonder why I am redoing all old levels. If I make new levels and some new enemies I can call it Fishhead 4. Maybe I will redo all FH2 and FH3 levels with extra stuff and then make 13 more levels. That would make a 60 level Fishhead game.
