i dont entirely agree with
"Previews and downloads must contain at least one screenshot and a sizeable description"
how about -you must write either a sizable description or post a screenshot with every submitted game.
but if pictures are neccesary mabye you could put some links on the submit page so the people can access them at the right time.
otherwise i can see millions of new posts where people go to submit a game and then need a link to a host for their screenshots.
and ratings? how about making it harder to get dc points,
base it on time spent active or something?
ive got an idea
every admin could have 1 vote per day for another user worth 1 dc point
and only if the user is voted for will they get the dc point
.

defenestrator, a really good and well considered post indeed! I agree on almost all your points. I guess Im in the minority group then, since Im well past 20 ... actually reaching 24 in march  .

That would probably look worse than not indenting at all.
