This game is in fact one that I made a while ago for the ZZT community. For those that don't know, ZZT is a game creation system written by Tim Sweeney, who is now the head of Epic Games. As a result the whole thing is a bit of an in-joke, but it's still enjoyable to play so I thought I would release it here. The objective is to "stomp" on the other player's heads in order to get points.

More information is provided in the online help accessible from the title screen. There is a one player mode provided, but it's a bit of a waste of time to be perfectly frank.

Sources of various things from the game: The backgrounds, I admit, are ripped textures from Unreal Tournament. Other graphics are drawn by me. The characters are used "under license", if you like. All music was written in MOD format by my good self, though a couple of tracks are arrangements from elsewhere.

A huge amount of options are provided to make the game as customisable as possible - everything from the time and score targets to how quick you have to be to get "combo stomps" is changeable. And there's one more thing that you can change, but it's not on the main menu... (End pathetic attempt to be enigmatic)

"Aurorasoft" is the name of the ZZT company that I was (and officially still am) in charge of.

The RAR file comes in three parts - this was originally to avoid huge uploads to Angelfire over my 56k modem. The two additional files can be found here:

the pictures were removed from the Desc because they were hoted by AngelFire and you all know what that means. you can find the pics here if you wish: http://www.angelfire.com/retro/aurorasoft/fusion/stomp.html But it still look like the files are missing.

Sorry about that, people - attempted to sneak around the Angelfire block and it obviously didn't work. You can have a look at the hastily-thrown together page above (it's now been corrected) or go here: http://www.angelfire.com/retro/aurorasoft/fusion/stomptitle.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/retro/aurorasoft/fusion/stompgame2.jpg http://www.angelfire.com/retro/aurorasoft/fusion/stompgame3.jpg

i just hate those stupid zzt/megazeux smilies! their only good use was bumping into activators that would control decent-looking (although made with really big, rectangular squares) characters! those toolkits were a godsend for me; i could finally have colored floors!

Justin, grow some nuts and quit complaining, TDC is for some kind of quality games, your Mario CD game I could have made in 45 minutes or so, and that includes the half hour of sitting on the sh*tter
