This is a mod to PixelThief's awesome Gridquest 2.0 he put out a couple years ago. I had worked on this for a month or so at the end of 2010 and forgot I never released it but I think it's pretty cool.

Aside from some minor gameplay tweaks and some graphical changes I HAD NOTHING TO DO WITH PROGRAMMING THIS AWESOME GAME. This is PixelThief's baby all the way! All the 3.0 changes have been listed in a textfile inside the folder and may be helpful if you've played the original, which can incidentally be found here:

Thanks for PT's hard work on this puppy! The dude's like the creme de la creme of Klik programming, holy crap guys you should see the source code it'll make your head asplode

Hmmm... looks like all my new games start with the regular lantern, which isn't supposed to happen. I won't be able to fix it for a couple days at least so this happens to you please let me know it's probably a simple variable thing (I hope!)

Someone should update the graphics of this game. That would be nice.

I asked PixelThief a few year back if I could do an updated version with better graphics.
After looking over all the graphic files I found that it was pretty hard to improve on them due to them being so tiny.

I found it hard because a lot of the graphics are stored in different directions in different active objects. It's probably way more efficient than what I can do but it was pretty hard to change I agree.

Yeah the biggest problem was making those 24x24 size tile graphics, there was really no way to make it look better outside of pixel shader effects. But I'm making a point to play through a whole new game with this mod! Thanks for making this!

aha! I like that you put emphasis into making the normal sections of the game more difficult. I definitely put way too much of the meat of the game into secret areas to the point they outnumbered the regular areas.

To bad this mod only has 19 downloads, I thought it was heaps of fun.
