there doesn't need to be an argument. he was just letting me know that he perfers it, which is alright in my book. other ppl can choose to comment on his choice but they dont have to. dont hurt me!
Now Adam dear boy, Show your manners to new members.
Yeah, tbh I don't know why Clickers fight with Structers but there's really no need. Click came first, but hey- If Construct suits you better, no need to argue.
Perhaps if you spent an hour or two of the three months you've been on TDC learning how to improve your games, you'd be just as good at making them as you are at spamming, ωξяξW○○F.
As for what product to use, all biases a side, more people here will be able to help you with Clickteam products, and there are probably a lot more resources on creating games using CT products, too. Which helps if you're new to the scene

yeah i figured because of the reaction alot of people have to construct, and i really wouldnt feel comfortable anyways working on a big project on something that isnt finalized yet, itd really suck to have to restart the project if they made a major change
Yeah, that's just Adam. His words really don't move me though. However, he made a point. This site does have a large community to help you out with whatever you need help with.
Hey! Welcome to TDC! It's great to have another clicker around!
The articles are great sources for info, and there's usually an article for
any problem or question you have. They've helped me bunches of times.
Hey, welcome to TDC! Just ask around if you need any help. If you don't want to start a thread, there's always the Chat, people are sometimes there.
Upgrading from TGF to MMF2 is usually worth the effort. If you're still starting off, and not sure if this hobby is worth your money, Construct is an excellent product, and free. There's also a tutorial on the Scirra site, which teaches you some tricks that are useful in a Clickteam product. You can always buy MMF2 later if you like it.
Also, don't mind some of the members; there's a bit of a war going on TDC between Construct and MMF, and almost everyone is on MMF's side here, just so you know.
Anyway, have fun!
Disclaimer: Any sarcasm in my posts will not be mentioned as that would ruin the purpose. It is assumed that the reader is intelligent enough to tell the difference between what is sarcasm and what is not.
This construct vs. mmf2 war only happens for the same reason there is the so called "console wars".
If you say the ps3 is the best console, chances are you have one and you want it to have more games available than the other consoles. That only happens if the console has the most sales, and the only thing you can do to achieve that is to try to persuade others to buy a ps3 too. Hence why you'll hardly find a ps3 owner saying the console sucks.
Now, we all know Construct is a serious threat to Clickteam. Clickteam isn't a millionaire corporation like EA so they are not financialy safe. What happens if Clickteam closes it's doors ? MMF2 will stop being supported and updated by clickteam, so no further software,HWA or java updates, and everyone who spent their hard earned money on buying MMF2 will not be pleased. So if Construct is a threat, it must be shot down.
Hence why like Muz said, almost everyone here is on MMF's side.
Im not on either side, both have their good and bad points, and since I can have both there's no reason for me to complain. Too bad not everyone here thinks like me.
