I kind of feel sorry for him, I mean don't get me wrong he probably deserves a portion of what he's getting, but he's already lost everything. He seems to have aged immensely in the past few months though. We should Napoleanize him (send him off to a desert island).
I dunno, I personally think we are going to be too hard on him, I mean, we already wiped out a good portion of his family. I also think that we are going to be too hard on him because, to america he's the "Ultimate Evil" and we demand spilling his blood to atone for the soldiers killed in the war. We beat him, he knows that, and I think he's now accepting it. But it would be wrong for the US to carry out it's initial plans of public execution.
I think the best punishment would be spending a good christmas even though it would be the first! And then stuff him into a small room for the rest of his life. But now we have to give us a little with some christmas spirit!

Yep, defending one's country when someone bigger charges in and trys to kill you. I'm not saying he's a saint, far from it. But this shit has got to end somewhere, and I prefer not to piss off all those who already hate my country even more. Because as soon as we get attacked again, we'll be heading for a much, much larger war.
Have we even found any evidence yet? No, and we had none to begin with. It was wrong for us to go in there in the first place. I don't really doubt that he was making those weapons, but if we ever do that to some other country that's bigger than Iraq, there are going to be SERIOUS problems. I'd prefer not to see it in my lifetime.
Giving punishment equal to the crimes, well then Bush and Congress should get Caned (as in bamboo, at least) for every civilian we killed in this war.
Well, we will most likely be going to war with China sometime in the future, or atleast many people think so. It won't be because of Bush or any other president, it will be because both of us need oil, and only so much of it exists.
By the way, the civilians were not "murdered" all of the ones killed were killed by accident. Going by that logic, all the people who accidently kill civilians in wars should get the death penalty? Eh right.......
99 percent chance that the above post is 100 percent correct.
Well, remember, a shitload of oil has just been found in Canada, it could very well supply the us for decades, provided everyone doesn't run out and get Suburbans, and Hummers.
And I believe that if someone goes into another country and kills civilians without cause, they should be punished.
And I'd like to thank you Mr. Coffee, you know how to carry on good and intelligent conversations, not many people here do.
To all of you that feel bad for him, STFU. Just think about all of the people that he tortured and slaughtered, their lives were no less important than his. He should be milked for information and then strung up by his balls. BTW, the War on Iraq didn't even have many casualties at all, a lot less than most of the other US war efforts. Saddam was getting away with a lot more than just weapons of mass destruction. Even if there weren't any, he still should have been kicked out for the other things he did.
