BloXRoX is a mix between Mahjong and Meteos.

Blocks are falling from the top of the screen, and create a pile. These blocks are coloured, and marked with a shape. By clicking on two similar blocks, the first one will move toward the second. On its way, it destroys all blocks that have a common point (either the same shape, either the same colour).
Of course you have to prevent the block pile from reaching the top of the screen !

This quickly made game, is not very well polished : simple pixel-art graphics, not many options... However, the music and the sound effects were almost entirely made with xylophone sounds.

BloXRoX should be taken as a concept, or an idea, instead of a complete game, but I might improve it someday. Anyway, if you like puzzle games, BloXRoX is made for you !

The Gameplay was pretty decent, I found the particle collecting part a bit of a gimmick though because half the time I was trying to make sure that my bricks didn't touch the top.

Update the graphic and music and you've got yourself a good game!

IT'S OVER NINE THOUSAAAAAND!!

Sorry, I couldn't resist.

Anyway, i'm always interested by new falling-block games since the vast majority of new games are clones of existing titles - Tetris, Bejewled, the works. This concept is something i've yet to witness, and it is a brilliant concept indeed!

Here's hoping that you (or someone else) makes a proper game out of it.

UrbanMonk : Yeah, maybe there should be less particles and they would be slower. Or maybe the missiles could appear after the shape/combo chain of 3 blocks.
Strife : Actually I was wondering if someone already had this idea before, but so far no one told me that my game was a clone of another game

The idea is original. I've never seen it before. But I would make less blocks to match in the begginning, then add more types as it goes.
