I tried making a pool game, it went pretty good.

It has:

-360 degrees movment
-Realistic bouncing taken from Tigerworks car movement engine
-Angle collision when the two balls collide, e.g the red is bounced to the left if you hit it from the right.

It has a bug in it, where the red ball sometimes goes the opposite way of what it's supossed to do, But that can be fixed by putting the balls movement into a fast loop.
I tried, but I cant get it to work, so I release the source, so someone else might figure out how to make this work better.

Requires Angle Calculator.


Edit: Movment has now been fixed.

when the white ball is moving slowly it's quite obviously not going in a straight line, and i get an error when it hits the red ball.

I saw this on the ClickTeam site. It's nearly a great engine. Needs a few tweaks.

best i've ever seen, but no where near what you would need to make a game, angles arn't right and the ball doesn't move straight, and you would need unlimited angles for a game not just 360, a proper billiard sim is (i think) far beyond the klik realm...

lol how do you get 'unlimited angles'? you can get angles like 90.47268 which is pretty bloody precise if you ask me ;)

well as i said, you need to put the balls movment into a fastloop, so you can 100% precise angles. no the balls doesnt move staight it would get slightly improved if put + 0.0 and the end but not much. i doubt its possible having more than 360 angles. but if you know how tell me

Neither ball bounces at the right angle, so it's not really much use.

Sorry, you know what I mean, I was assuming (my bad) that you only had 360 individual angles and no in-betweens, which is only what most people have in click when they say "360 degrees"
