Yet another quality engine from KeatonTech! Maybe first I should explain the name. ComPlat stands for Community Platform. Basicly, this engine allows for custom skins and levels.

Custom skins and levels do two things. Firstly, they make team game design a lot faster. The level designer doesn't have to have a copy of the CCA (or GAM) file, he can use the ComPlat Level Designer (Included as a CCA for MMF users and an EXE for TGF'ers). The graphics designer can design multiple skins so everybody is happy, and they don't need the CCA (or GAM) file either. The second thing skins and levels can do is allow anybody to make "expansion packs" withmore levels and/or skins. Your game can grow and, in a way, develop as a kind of community.

Anyway, the code is not currently commented, but if you people want me to I will gladly comment it (I just didn't want to waste my time on something that people didn't care about). Sorry if it's already been done, it does seem like an obvious idea. Anyway, if you're just gonna insult it without downloading it, don't bother posting, otherwise post any comments you have below. Oh hell, just give him some time - maybe he'll come up with some usefull application someday. Maybe even this one is usefull(ish)

I am actually planning to make a game based around this engine. I'm pretty good at coding, I just can't do graphics or level design. The engine was really made for my own use, but I decided to post it here anyway.
