Hi, a side from my work on my side scroller, I made this little screen saver this week. It is suppose to be an ecosystem simulator. Watch the red tosses reproduce (they ley egg by bounce into one another) and eat flowers which is also reproducing (by spreading seeds every 2 seconds). Now, the red tosses cubs have four seconds to eat at least one flower to become an adult so that they can reproduce, if they dont eat until four seconds have past, they die from starvation. Adult tosses die from starvation in 10 seconds and from age in 15. Some times the tosses become so many that they eat up all the flowers in one generation which leads to their extermination. Then the number of generation is put into a high score. My personal record is 18 generation of tosses. Excuse my bad english, but please try the screen saver and say what you think!

Basic but nice and clever!Funny and good graphics. I propose you make it a game.

I was working on it as a game first, but it seemed funnier to watch than to interact. But maybe I cam look into it again.

Just to let you know, there are some things in the zip that are included twice.

When one red thing runs into the snowman, all of them die. This is pretty good.

OMG, this is my screen saver for eternity now.

Yeah, this would be interesting as a game, but even now, just as a screensaver, this still gets a big thumbs up from me.

Only gripe would be that you should have added some sounds into it.

Thanks folks. However, sounds in a screen saver tend to be pretty annoying. But if I make a game out of it, there will sure be sounds to it.

Well, I'm sure you could make a setup screen when adding a new frame and giving it a certain special name which I forgot... Then you can add in options, including the sound blah.

amusing ^^

for a screensaver i prefer that it has no sounds ! just add some sounds if you make a game with

This screensaver wins solely because it has a high scores list in it.
