I created this prototype golf game a number of years ago. I wasn't happy when I tried to incorporate a physics engine. Decided it would be too much work to bring this prototype to the next level. Source is below.

Yeah, when I went to integrate actual physics I learned that the physics engine doesn't play that well with backdrops. That effectively killed my plan to use externally loadable images for levels. I banged out a few holes, realized it was just too broken, and moved on.
