For the record... Dr. Eggman is Dr. Robotnik. I was insulted that they changed the name to such a pathetic thing. But then I researched it a bit. The Japanese name was Dr. Eggman-- They changed it to Robotnik for the US. Then we decided to switch it back. So he is the same... but I think Robotnik is infinitely more evil-sounding. I think a modern Zelda adventure would be AWESOME. Hey, you never know, with e3 comin' up... Aside from the series' that are obviously getting a follow-up on wii, (Kid Icarus, Pikmin, WarioWare, Animal Crossing... yaddahyaddahyaddah) there are a few nintendo franchises that could be revived.
Yea EAD have got a few projects to announce apparently. Hoping for a new Animal Crossing, Zelda, F-Zero for Wii and hopefully F-Zero DS. Along with Golden Sun on either system plz.

Yeah Croc! Those were some nice games. Then he disappeared. Then Morpheme went and made a bowling game, then an actual game in the series: Croc Mobile:Jungle Rumble. It was lackluster at best. Go search it and you'll find a playable Java demo.

Perhaps still funky and cute, but maybe slightly more realistic?
YES! I have so many ideas for that game. Seeing though that they don't accept unsolicited ideas.
They'd have expansions on the Able Sisters where you meet their niece or cousin Gable, or something, who lets you order custom made furniture with your patterns on them. There would be more bugs, fish, fossils, paintings, coffee flavors, you could go on dates or to parties, there would be restaurants, and if you didn't like the original position of your house, you could buy some land and have one built there instead, and you stay at a friend's house until then. There would be sleepovers, and you could actually have dinner with the people in town, and there would be a movie theater. The gate/train station would become an airport, and there would be an island somewhere where anyone can meet anyone, like a vacation.
I don't remember the rest of the features I came up with.
Also in Animal Crossing, it would be nice if the only goal was not to get the biggest house, but something else. Also, a garden feature would be awesome, for the houses. There's so much potential, I really hope Nintendo realise this and do something about it.
Also perhaps a town editor. I like the random town creation at the start, but my current town on Animal Crossing: Wild world is really annoying, I have to cross lots of bridges to get places.

Sonic 3 and Knuckles didn't have this issue. Sonic 2 did to an extent, but not Sonic 3.
Also, I still am offended by the name change from Robotnik to Eggman. I don't care about stupid transitions, it sickens me to see people calling him that. Dr. Ivo Robotnik is his name. This 'nickname' is beyond stupid... just because he's egg shaped.
Ivo Robotnik! I forgot his first name but it's all come flooding back. Used to read them mad little comics too. Not the super serious ones, the one they based the silly cartoon off. The one that was Big Breakfast

Hmm i wouldnt say Sonic 2 suffered from that. The only level i can think where you actually move fast a lot if Chemical plant zone, and that wasn't even that bad since you were changing direction quite a lot instead of holding right.
Nah the invention of grind rails is what causes the most problems in recent sonic games. Probably Sonic advance 2 onwards.

Holy shit, shut the hell up, I wasn't even talking to you. Just because my post came after yours, doesn't mean anything. Who cares what YOUR opinion on him is, no one asked you. Maybe you should consider that there are multiple conversations going on in the same thread. Hence the quotes. Ah-Duh!? Anyway.

Now that I think about it, you're absolutely right. The entire Genesis series was pretty awesome, hands down. It's all because Sonic is SO FAST that people feel the need to enforce that with mindless stunts, ramps, loops, and entirely linear tracks. No one ever stops and sees that Sonic was none of that.
The only thing that made Sonic fast in the original games, was running up walls and around loops occasionally. The rest was controlled chaos and speed through excellent level design, all at the fingertips of a player who if they didn't know what they were doing, lost their rings and had to recollect them. It had nothing to do with holding down right the entire time, and make the occasional jump here and there.

Uh.. so I'm not allowed to reply to your comment? I'm not allowed to EXPRESS my opinion, but you are? If you're wanting a private conversation with someone, an open forum thread with lots of people talking in it isn't really the place to have it, grow up and stop over reacting.
PS: WTF IS "Ah-Duh"? Didn't really work in text form.

Shitting on someone else's opinion is not the same as expressing your own. Nice try.
I wasn't asking what you thought, nor do I care, or even talking to you. You had no right, other then making yourself look like an idiot, by saying that. Now I could imagen if I was talking to you saying "Yeah well, his name is Dr. Ivo Robotnik", then I can see why you would say you don't care, but you weren't absolutely anywhere in the conversation. You act as though I ripped a baby out from your hands and started spewing shit out of my mouth, in my defense, as to why I'm allowed to. For crying out loud, get the fuck off my case. I don't even know what the hell I did, for you to suddenly single me out.
