Actually I don't think Naughty dog made any of the PS2 crash games. They moved on to bigger and better things with the Jak games. I'd like to see what they'd do with crash if it was given back to them.
Oh, Oh! Now there's a game I loved. Jak and Daxter. That was great, but like many other games, the sequel just didn't appeal to me :/ Also correct, I think it was Konami who made Bandicoot for the PS2, however Naughty Dog were not cool for giving it up
Id really really love a new crash game, but just like the 1st one for the ps1. Simple, and cute and fun, and about 4 or 5 characters in the storyline, none of the characters from Crash Team Racing, although I adored that game too, for the PS1
Goodness Gracious! Temperamental, aren't we? I agree with the excessive swearing... we wouldn't want to scare away all the old grannies inhabiting this site. You're really terrible about arguing, you have holes in your argument everywhere... No need for it at all anyway. Anywho... I never tried Jak and Daxter, and everyone says it's good. Mayhaps I oughrt to pick it up?
Edit: the temperamental part was directed at BrandonC
Yes definitely. You can get all 3 jak games for under 30 bucks if you buy em used. The first one I played was actually the 2nd. And I prefer the last 2. The first feels mostly like a banjo kazooie type game (a lot better though).
I own Jak and daxter and Jak 2. I must say i prefer the 1st one. You can tackle the levels in almost so long as you can actually get to them. If i recall Jak 2 tried to be like GTA3 with missions and a huge city to walk around. Sadly it was too limited to be interesting.
It's for the PS2 right? I think I will pick one up next time I swing by Game Crazy... Oh yea! Back on topic, sorta... I don't know if I already said this, but Sly Cooper would be AWESOME on Wii if it weren't Sony's. I know it's developed by suckerpunch but I think Sony owns the rights. I even wrote out the control schemes... Plus, you know all the mini-game missions could be awesome with wiimoteness.
Jak 3 was much more awesome than Jak 2, with each of the original weapons getting expansions, new dark powers, Light Jak, new places, more vehicles, and overall much more fun. If you haven't played it, you should at least rent it. Jak 1 is more like a traditional adventure platformer, but 2 and 3 are more combat focused. Jak X (the racing game) is just decent.
Also, while the series has ended, Naughty Dog has expressed interest in continuing it with the Uncharted: Drake's Fortune engine.
Sly Cooper needs revival on Wii, I agree with that.

They probably could get away with making a good new pokemon game that didn't use the exact same formula as the last hundred games. Like if they went down the FFT route of RPG style. Or you know, anything besides picking a strong attack and hope it turns out okay in the big rock-paper-scissors formula.

Yes indeed. Pokeemans is surprisingly fun, even though everyone on earth claims to abhor it (though they all secretly love it). It could use some sort of revamp. These discussions really make me wish I had some sort of power in the industry.

It's semi-good. It represents the engine well, but there are only 83 shadow pokemon to catch, and a small amount of regular pokemon. There are 18 shadow moves that all disappear with the purification, and... I don't feel like going on.
If Nintendo ever decides that they are only going to make one more Pokemon game, it should have every region, badge, pokemon, side quest, essentially an amalgamation of the other games, except with even more stuff. And MMO style. The game gets blown to huge proportion so people can be hanging out with others like the kids in the show.
Pokémon really needs to take advantage of next-gen. MMO would be fantastic. Pokémon AI action-based battles would be fantastic (giving them orders, seeing their little faces all full of pain! marvellous!)
Ah, if only.
Franchises I'd like to see resurrected? Carmageddon needs an actual good sequel. The first game was brilliant! The other games just didn't work at all. It needs to have moddable cars, and hoardes of zombies to rip through. And competitors to wreck. Big sandbox game, hours of fun slaughtering and crashing.
