I really liked the Spyro the dragon games for the psone. The first game was a bit of a collect em up with two or three well hidden gems, and thats about it.
I missed out on no.2
But Spyro year of the dragon was absolutely epic. The amount of mini games they packed into that game was amazing. I most fondly recall chasing after mini dinosaurs on a skateboard. The music was really funky too.

Apparently the series went downhill after no.3 I guess Insomniac moved on to the Ratchet and clank games.

It would be nice to have another spyro 3 on current gen consoles.

I agree, Year of the Dragon is my favorite of the entire series. I just can't remember where the hell I put my disk. I loved that game though, and I'd love to have a current gen port with better graphics.

They need to make more Darkstalkers. I don't think Capcom realises what fantastic characters they created. They took worn out cliches and somehow made them interesting by throwing them all in a fighting arena.

A Darkstalkers RPG would be epic, as well as a 2.5D fighting game.

Wouldn't it be crazy if when talking about all this, some secret research group came, hovered over this thread, gleaned all these ideas from it, and gave them to the respective companies?

I want to play Megaman Legends 3. The only problem is someone has yet to make it.

I agree 100%. I'd love to have MML3 on Wii, and I even dedicated a page on my site to Nintendo bypassers: http://tcentertainment.webs.com/nintendooverhere.htm

Earthbound has an E rating for Wii on the ESRB website.

They should make some sort of DS player channel that lets you view either the top screen alone, the bottom screen alone, or both screens together. It'd save battery power because only the screen(s) not in use would have to be on. There could be some sort of transparent indicator on the screen so you know where you have your stylus on the screen. Yep, I'd even pay for that. It would come with some sort of connector that goes in either the Gamecube controller sockets, or the Gamecube memory card sockets.

Getting back on topic, and this time with movies, what if they finally produced sequels to the Who Framed Roger Rabbit movie? Anyone else like that movie?

Tee-hee. I've got a DS cable that lets me play games on an EDTV, shipped over from a games journalist I'm pally with. Surprised a 3rd party hasn't made their own yet. Probably mega illegal.

Don't forget though - the wifi is going to seriously drain the battery too! There's a Stereo Channel coming out for the Wii that throws DS audio through the Wii

Perfect Dark. The original was innovatve and has the best multiplayer any game has yet to offer (on console, at least). Perfect Dark Zero refined the gameplay and made a great game, aside from all the stale voice acting, cutscenes, and anything else character (persona) related.

Why? The original PD had bots in multiplayer. You could set each one to do a different task, like holding your current position, securing your general area, going after the objective item... And the bots were customizable in appearance and general behavior! PDZ dropped the ball on bots by making them all be generic character models and stripping the AI; The only thing kept was difficulty modifiers. Also, Perfect Dark has been a perfect game for playing co-op with my pals. I do love me some co-op.

Heck, I'd go for the original Perfect Dark on the Xbox Live Arcade, with online functionality, of course.

One more off-topicness. Awesomest Haiku EVER written:

I enjoy haikus
But sometimes they don't make sense
Refridgerator

But anyway, did you read my page Jon & George Lambert? I had that screen thinkgy... Plus I do believe something in nintendo power said the cables were only licensed for game review... thingies...

Back on topic... I'd love a revival of the Mario brothers series... in 3d. That was a good one. (I intended this as a joke at first... but now it makes sense... I'd like Super Mario galaxy 2 and Super mario Brothers 3d on Wii. )

Commenting on this statement made earlier, Spyro did go downhill. The first non-Insomniac game, Spyro:Enter the Dragonfly (which I own on Gamecube) only had nine levels and they were boring. Yes, a dull game, except for the slide levels.

In the next game, the last in The Legend of Spyro series, Spyro will be able to fly freely at all times in the game, which I think takes out the challenge there used to be in hovering to barely make it over the edge, timed jumps & glides, and using superfly wisely and quickly.

I did read your list, they were all very good suggestions. If only Nintendo would use all of them. One time, I thought, what if there were some sort of platformer or adventure game where your Mii is your character? An RPG even, I just want a game with the Miis as the central characters.

That's a good Mario idea as well.

On Pokemon, it would be cool if the battles were more like the ones in the show and manga, in that they were real time, and you could order your pokemon to climb a tree, jump, dodge, combine moves, etc.

I would like to play a new The Legend of Zelda: Four Swords game.

Bring Pikmin to the Wii! And a Rayman platformer! And a good platforming Donkey Kong game!

Yes! Though I don't think we'll be seeing environmental moves in Pokemon, they've managed to squash them all onto that Pokemon Ranch Wiiware title. They'd look fantastic on the small screen. Next one needs to have 3D battles and a proper 3D world. They could have done it on the DS but meh.
So long as they make battles as fast as they were on the GBA versions. Put the 2 together! It's mad how much they've slowed down the DS version.
