Decidingtions, decidingtions. The other PSP2 topic seemed to be on a different track, so I'll ask here.
Which one will you get? PSP2 (NGP) or 3DS? Both? Neither?
It's a 3DS for me. Unlike what seems to be a lot of people, I like the 3D gimmick (as of not having tried it) and all that it includes. The Nintendo exclusives and even the AR tech demos are an easy swing for me. The PSP is cool, but I don't really have any games for it I want to... play. If the PSP2 has a similar catalog, it would be silly for me to get one. It is neat though (if kind of roundy), and a Sly Cooper game for it would be very tempting.
No games in particular (well . . .maybe the non-mercenaries RE for 3DS), but I will be picking up a 3DS. In a year or two the game lineup will be astounding.
The PSP2 is powerful, but it doesn't really do anything that my current consoles can't already do. The 3DS, even though its specs are closer to the original PSP, does something that I can't get otherwise without buying a new TV.

I'd really have to wait until I saw official prices of both, but as it stands... the PSP2 appears to be the massive powerhouse handhold while the 3DS kind of sits at on the edge of a gimmick.
Don't get me wrong, I love 3D but the PSP2 looks like it's going to offer so much more beyond that, while the 3DS just kind of hopes that the glamor of 3D never gets old. Heres a hint: It will.

Screw remakes and re-releases. We've seen these time and time again. Re-releases deserve to be distributed digitally at the most.
I'd rather see a bunch of good exclusive games, not some shitty remake of an already bad game like ocarina of time.
