As you may have guessed, it's not a click game but I really wanted to hear tdc's feedback as it helped me a lot in the past.

The video looks better than some professional games I've seen. I'm half tempted to download this and get disappointed.

I like the fact that you can actually view the track from the cockpit of the racecar.

Tell me though, can you move the view within the racecar like the guy actually has a head ?

Or is this just like every other lame ass wannabe racecar game out there ?

Honestly, I don't see why it would be so damn difficult to make a view from inside a stock car, where you can move the racer's view to see the insides of the vehicle even. Formula 1 would be even easier.

I want to play a game where you can control the racer's head and view the track from inside the cockpit, through the driver's eyes.

Is that too difficult for these companies to comprehend ?

I've seen some of the things that can be done with programming. You can't tell me that it's not possible to do. I know better. Why don't you make a racecar game like that and show them all how it's done ?

That's a game that I'd buy, even if there was only a computer version.

Ok, I think you get the point ... downloading now.

It's good to see a race game like this here.

I like how fast this feels, but making the turns is difficult. I have to slow wayyy down.

This is a demo right ? You really need some computer AI vehicles to add to the fun.

Time trials are good for online high score games, but short of that, they are completely un-cool in every other way.

And this is just another wannabe racer as usual, but it plays just as good as Project Gotham Racing 2.

I think Project Gotham Racing 2 sux big hairy ones for a professional game though.

There have been very few racing games that I have liked, but there were a few ... I just can't remember the name of them .. except for the really old ones like Sprint and Super Off-Road for the Arcade.

Oh yea, ... my Airstik 2000 doesn't work for this game at all. Is there a way to get it to work ? .. I switched to joystick in options and it doesn't seem to detect it.

I hate racing games.

However, I played one a long time ago on the PS1 and for some reason loved it. This game you've presented us with here reminds me so much of the game I used to play.

Well done, I hope you make something big of this!

Sl!ther: That's odd I never encountered any similar problem
danjo: Thanks ! Yes it's writtin in b3d.

MBK: Thanks !
about the joystick problem, yeah I know there's something wrong I tested it today and it didn't work for me either which is odd because it used to.

mr.bump: thanks !

mr. pink: thanks I just released a new version and you can now adjust the level of detail of track which should help a lot.

The link for the new version is the same as above.

the game desperately need elevation in it. if for some reason your engine wont allow for the track to have up and down, then atleast load in another (terrain) mesh that has some hills/banks. something that protrudes above the fencing.
also some trees - more stands would actually help the game more than extra drivers.

when i say bland - its like racing around in a flat paddock atm. there is no life or feeling to the track at all.
