This is a small minigame that I have been working on for my real game "The Last War":

I just finished the minigame in my full game when the competition came out, so I fixed up the game a little and here it is! The game is a side scrolling platform shooting game. You have a pistol and you have to shoot as many targets as you can in the time provided! All the targets are randomly placed through out the level. This minigame includes:
-a custom engine with double jump
-a custom 360 degree shooting engine
-changeable ammunition
-parallax scrolling
-scoring system with .INI files
-and much more!

For more weapons and the full game, download frequent test engines of "The Last War" that includes more weapons such as machine guns, shotguns, rocket launchers, sniper rifles, pistols, smoke grenades, fragmentation grenades, and a two-handed sword...

Please comment and rate! I like to see constructive criticism!

Hmmm... I found alot of things weird. I pressed the "Go back" button and it took me into the game. |:. And you show a rocket launcher in the screen shots but there's no rocket launcher to be had. (I know It's from "The last war" but dude, try to stay within the lines. Image) Graphics-wise it was all pretty simple, bland, and unshaded.

I don't get why the screen shakes when you shoot a target either.

Gameplay-wise was so/so. Pretty straight forward.

Sorry, but you should really work on it some more.

I just fixed that, and removed that photo. Didn't mean to post up that one...

You might have wanted to make the platforms less tedious and more easy to move around between. Some kind of indication of where the next target was would have helped too.

Not exactly the shotgun exercise levels in worms, but I think at least the main concept is pretty good.
