Somewhere there is some evil professor lurking about in his laboratory, doing mad science and what not. His latest doomsday creation is Mr. Roboto; a deadly fighter robot! But the robot develops self awareness somehow, and decided he don’t want to kill things after all.

The professor is furious and place Roboto on a really slow conveyor belt for destruction.

From this point, Mr. Roboto has to become a ninja in order to take on the evil professor and escape with the other robots, which basically is the whole game.

Oh, and since the professor is so evil, he sends some drones after Mr. Roboto once he learns of his escape from the destruct-o-belt.

Gameplay
Mr. Roboto has to use his doomsday hardware to demolish certain blocks in each level. This to trick the drones out of the map so he can head on to the next area.

He has to use the environment to his advantage. Every block is destructible, Roboto has to place his limited amount of explosives carefully. Sometimes he even have to use the drones before he destroys them, stuff like riding them over dangerous electro magnetic fields (since Mr. Roboto’s metallic feet are so tender, and the drones has special plastic wheels).

Features
- Loads of head-scratching levels
- Easy to use Level editor
- Robot ninjas

I’d really like people to make some of their own stages, it’s the only way I get to really see if the game is any fun. Because you know, puzzle games aren’t that challenging when you know the solution.

Upload you creations in the Mr. Roboto forums!

Also some special thanks to the Gamesare guys who where going to publish it for a while! Chris Carson and Sam Dillard, I'm speaking to you!

Definitely a good game, and the puzzles seems well thought out. You not make this a flash game i know you've made some in the past. Heres some thoughts:
-Theres a typo in the intro scene, he said fail instead of fails or something like that but i may be wrong.
-I think some sort of 8bit or techno sounding music would go well with the game, not those kind of wierd intro and outro tunes.
-I could swaer that one sound came from the game Spore, but maybe thats just me.
-I died in the entry room place with the two hallways and it closed the game i dont know if thats on purpose.
-I think its a better idea to have ingame instructions instead of a side document.
-why have a instaed of c as the lever button? it just seems to make more sense to me to have it as c.

Thanks for your thoughts, I'm shaping the flash build based on replies from you guys.

- Yup, that would be awesome. But I am using free to use audio from the clickteam resources.
- I would not know, it might be.
- Yup, that is how you exit the game from the "main menu". I think it's kind of fun to "self-destruct".
- I might auto pop up the control menu on the first run
- I might change that.

Had a lot of fun with this, and finally beat it earlier today. Excellent work, Willy C!

Yeah, the last two levels were quite tricky. It seems to me like you scaled the difficulty just right.

I would love to see more levels that relied on the time-stopper block you created. When I've a moment or two free, I'll see what I can make with the level creator.

Awesome! Would love to play some levels created by you guys!

But really, I can't clear stage 3

Eh, sleep on it again. You'll wake up at three in the morning and shout out, "I've got it!" You'll race down to your computer and solve it in one go.

Posted by Willy C 19th March, 2011

You are just teasing me. It's not even doable, is it?

When you first said you couldn't beat it, I double-checked it just to make sure. If I'm able to complete it, then anyone can, Willy C.

Let me know if you want that screen shot, anytime.

Meanwhile...

I am afraid I have to acknowledge that your intellect is greater. Let me have a couple of more tries, then send the screen shot

This is very good product in a level that is related to a standard Adobe Flash made!

Don't you mind that I gave your game a review, with some neat scores so I could dig up more DC points and evilly bribe more users?

Thank you for your hats!

Do you mind if I pack in all 10 of your levels into the Mr. Roboto download?

Your file is not working by the way, it doesn't seem to contain any stage information.

Link for Stage 010 has been updated. Sorry for the mix-up.

...And I'd be honoured if you included the ten stages as part of the native download for Mr. Roboto!
