The Gyst
This is a nice little puzzle/platformer I was creating a while back. It's easy on the eyes (which is surprising for me), and reasonably fun to play. Unfortunately it's abandonware as I have become tied down with other projects. I have used some of these graphics in Baddie Burning Bonanza which will be coming out sometime this year! If you like this game, I will continue it! If not then BAH, forget it!!

Story
Planet of the Punk Dots, has been attacked by their arch rivals, The Pencil Heads! Now a young Punk Dot must save them YADA YADA YADA! He has been given some Iron boots, which weigh him down so much, he cannot jump, thus making moving through levels difficult. Press ESC to skip the story when you start a new game, and press SHIFT to keep talking.

Some more useless info
This is only 3 levels, and they are pretty easy. You shouldn't have any problems getting through it. Sorry theres only 1 save slot, I added it quickly for this version.

Thats about it! Tell me if you like it or not...if not then I won't continue it, if so then I will finish it after I get either Maniac Elf or Baddie Burning Bonanza finished!

I command you to finish it! It's fun...with many nice powerups. I like the graphics and many other except the hands of the main character.

Great Idea! with the iron boots and all. You should make the aim of the game is to find some decent material for making shoes.

Great puzzler you've got here. The concept is fun and attractive, plus it's supplemented by great graphics, a good engine and nice music. It's a good thing that you'll continue it. :)

Wong Chung Bang, in your review u said: "The gameplay is reminiscent of an old Amstrad puzzle game that I can't remember the name of - your character is limited by grid-based platform movement, and you have to push blocks around to reach your goal of the exit." - I think u mean chip's challenge, I remember I had that on my old 486, Ahhh the good ol' days... hey, Ashman i just downloaded it and what can i say .. its one hell of a game and i hope you finish it soon, it has inspired me to make a platform puzzle game but i got some planning to do .. once again, great game
