This is for beginners more than anyone else as it is fairly basic stuff.

This shows how to do enemy walking left and right without using built in path movement, you can choose their boundries,

also it shows how to let them jump at certian points so they can get over obstacles too

And they shoot at random intervals using "random"

This could also be used for Ai in a side on race game like sonic 2's tails movement. Although it is better for games a lot less complicated than sonic 2.

Its great. But you should size the blue box to the same size as the red ones. Also, you should make it a platform movement. :) It gives a better impression.

All of the programming for the AI is unnecessary for such a small stage, you could have used path movements and gotten a similar result. This programming is only necessary if you want to put the same exact enemy on varying types of platforms without having to make different object types. This could have been more specific on notes such as that, but all in all, it's a VERY well made engine.
