This is a short demo of the sequel to Swordstar (hence the 2 in the title)
I decided to go all out for this game and try to create the best platformer/shootemup i possibly can and here is what ive done so far!
You can shoot most blocks away and collect stuff as in most platform games and kill enemies.

there is only one farily short level in this demo but i hope you people enjoy it.

and its in FULLSCREEN this time

Sw33t game so far! Just need to loop the music and theres some bad guys that aren't on a platform. ;)

Very not bad. Its a bit easy to just smash CTRL and move right though.

Thanks for your comments everyone! i need to sort out the enemies ai slightly sometimes they break away from their normal movements and keep going in a straight line.

Also, a flying baddie froze, and acted as if it was having a seziure. :P Nice CPM too. :)

Wow. Good game. Just a few things I suggest in making the full version: loop the music (like CKarl said) and I think it'd be great if you started out just being able to do a short attack range, and then being able to power-up to shooting stuff (that yellow laser or whatever it is)

i was considering powerups at least. But im making the enemies a bit harder than they are at the moment so you can't just blast them senseless.

Nice game so far, Andy. The engine is stable and as far as I can see without extensive testing, bug free. The only real problem with this game so far is that it's fairly generic. This is only a demo though, I'm sure you have more stuff in mind for it. If you like, I might be able to rack my brains and come up with some stuff for you. My overworked imagination is no use to me anyway, I don't really make platformers myself.

aw man, all my old demos were hosted at Klik academy, they got a new server ages ago and my website went along with their old stuff.
