This is the newest version of my Signature Creator, which is now Signature Creator v1.1b! Yeah, everyone cheer! Anyway, this now has a bunch of new features, including the addition of two more possible pictures, lighting, patterns, new gradients, and, I think that's it. It now saves as a 320 by 16, 32, 48, or 64 pixel signature.

Now, the thing is, there are a few problems. Namely, the background gradients won't render correctly unless you change the Outline option. Everything else, I believe, works fine.

The original can be found here, it has also been edited.

On November 29, 2008, I decided to say: Guess what I did? I fixed those problems with the lighting, transparency, patterns, and whatnot. Then I realized that I broke the outline for the smaller text, so that was fixed too. Then, I have now added RESIZING! That's right, you can now change it to 320 x 16, 32, 48, or 64 pixels! Up next, 400 and 480 pixels, and repositioning text and pictures.

I like this. One request would be to have horizontal or vertical gradient for the background though if possible

I like this too, but i think that the signature area is a bit too small

Its a good idea in theory, but it lacks the power it needs to make it worth using over photoshop and gimp. A problem i noticed was I wasnt able to move the picture around after I placed it on the field. So that would result in me having to make the picture to the correct size in photoshop. Since im already in photoshop, I might as well just add in the effects while im there instead of uploading it to the Sig Maker. The same went for the text. I wasnt able to move it around. Another thing i didnt like was that i wasnt able to change the sizing or frequency of the pattern overlay as well as its position. I think if you can incorporate the changes I discussed you could have a very powerful program. I also experienced a glitch with the lighting effects. Curve, Rectangle, and Spot all bounce up and down. It almost looks like the sig is in an earthquake and the light above it is flailing about. All in all, its a great idea that would be very popular. But, I think if you took a little more time on this, it couldve been a lot better program. For now its only getting 2 stars from me.

Darn it, I forget the lighting! The reason it does that is that this version was supposed to have different sizes, but when I decided against that, I apparently forgot to lock that.

Thank you for your extensive criticism, it will really help me improve the product. I didn't put in most of those features because I didnt want it too big or too cluttered, but as I write this, I've figured out a way around that. Thank you!

This is a really nice little app, I did some signatures with the previous version and it seemed to work nicely. Must try out this new version.

I don't know if it already exists in somewhere, but at least I would find useful to have an option to save the project file and load it later. Also enabling both 320x16 and 320x24 images would be great as now 16 pixels height doesn't leave too much room to use images in. I had some problems with selecting the source images (couldn't change them once they had been set for the first time), using Vista. Finally, just a tiny detail; I would standardize the application name as now it's "SiggyMaker" in one place - "Signature Creator" in the other.

Other than those, I think this is just great. Also like the new interface, very professional. Keep it up.

All right, I went back in and fixed a lot of the stupidest mistakes I apparently just became aware of. The pictures now work, the patterns can now be properly flipped, the lighting was fixed, and the transparency for the Icon Picture was fixed.
