Version 2 of Psycho is basicly thesame as V.1 (dont think anyone has played that) but with improved graphics. You can walk left and right while fighting enemies with your mouse. It has 4 difficulty levels so dont complain its to easy/hard.

Non-gamers do find it hard to move and shoot at the same time.

Anyway it has only one level so far but its meant to be played if you are bored or have only little time.
Tell me if you like it! Oh and please note the game has some blood and violence... Cartoon violence but just so you know

a little slow paced. dont like how the guys that can shoot at you aren't very easy to avoid. no jump button? looks sweet and was fun for a bit.

The parasquirrels should be destroyed before they are close to the ground, so if you kill them in time you wont be hit that much...

Nice graphics

When posting here, please tell me what you think about the graphics AND the gameplay. A mere "good" or "sucks ass" will do fine...

Yep, if you include the .dll file with the game (zipped maybe) it should work anyway.

Just played again and noticed you can fall off the screen on the left and right. Was this meant to happen?

Again good game, keep it up ^_-

Neat.

You need to stop the mouse going off screen, as i kept finding myself losing the window. Also, add a "Shoot on double click" event as well as single click, as it doesn't shoot properly at the moment.

Uhm I made this in TGF so i cant stop the mouse from going of screen, you do know you have to hold down the left click to shoot? I know it doesnt shoot right if you just keep clicking...

A quick review from my self,

Honstly..... it was alright, 2 things that really buged me though was the fact that when you hit the enemys you have no indection that you hit them, maybe they should flash or you here a hit noice. secondly you should add a jumb button its a really drag when the enamys can hit you oand theres no way to escape the bullet

Other than that, great graphics and great engine looking forword too the real game

cheers

Ive done both things you advised, sound when you hit an enemy (flashing didnt work in TGF) and you can jump with the up-arrow...

I really like the graphic.
Nice and Funny

I think the game is just a bit... slow.
There's not much action in it and there are not enough things to do.
You can't jump, you can't run, you can't shot in a different way than the normal gun.
I think the game is really nice looking but I won't play it for more than a couple of minutes because of the gameplay

So I rate it 3/5

Uhm you CAN jump with up arrow actually, and yeah might make more levels and weapons...

This isn't bad. I would have rated it a two star without the jump though.

I do like your graphics. You could have been a little more innovative with some things though.
For instance, give each enemy their own death sequence, instead of the head falling off for all of em.

As for that flashing idea ... don't worry if that didn't work ... just make a new frame of the enemy, lighten up the colors alot, and set it so when it gets hit, it displays that ..

Or even better, make a copy of the animations, lighten every frame of that up, have some sort of code to check which frame of the animation is playing, and when it gets hit, display the correct frame it got shot on.

Sounds like alot, but it's really not.

Maybe you and I should make a game together, .. I have loads of ideas, and you obviously have some skill in graphics creation.

(i'm terrible at making graphics and especially at animating them)

I would say my coding is average or maybe even below, but i often think of things that others wouldn't.

I've come up with a formula without understanding the math and how it even works when I made a beat-em-up sorta walking around movement. I need to get a free host and post some things too.. know of any good ones ?

Well, first of al thanks for your comment. I should probably make that flashing animation... And i'd like to make a game with tho im pretty busy lately so it wont progress on high speed anyway sorry for responding this late, was on holiday
