HOW TO PLAY
The Dirty Marmaduke Flute Squad has just finished yet another gig, and they need your help to make it back home again! Use the ARROW KEYS to dodge the weepy emo kids, crooked club owners, and grumpy critics, while gathering cash along the way. Collect $500, and you'll earn a Kashgrab Kredit. Use Kredits to purchase power-ups and secrets as you play.

At the end of a round, you can spend your Kredits to continue playing, or record your score in the HIGH SCORE TABLE.

OTHER DETAILS
Any special bonuses you purchase will display instructions on how to use them, but basically you press either the CTRL key or the SPACE BAR to use an item once it's been activated. You can adjust the music volume at any time by pressing the + or - keys on your keyboard. If you activate the jukebox, you can change music tracks by pressing 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or (yup, you guessed it) 6.
To play in full-screen mode (which is actually pretty cool), hold down the ALT key, and press ENTER.

If any of you folks who have downloaded the game have had a chance to play it, I'd love to hear your comments.

I have only 3 problems with this game:

#1) Your bass player uses a PICK! (A real no no!)

#2) Your bass player wears his bass too low! I never got how people could actually play comfortably like that. I usually wear mine about a foot north of this guy.

#3) Your bass player is smoking! Doesn't he know that smoking will only shorten lis life span so that he won't be able to enjoy the wonderous things out there? Like, using your fingers to play and adjusting your bass strap to a good level?

Oh, and I wish I would've had that setup growing up to play in, looks cool!

Heheh...Well, we have rehearsal tonight, so I'll be sure to pass along the health advisory to our bassist.

Whoa whoa whoa-- if he doesn't smoke, he's can't be cool. Besides, bassists live hard and die young, and that's just how they roll.

That's not true, I'm still around and I've been rolling for like 17 years on one

Glad to hear you liked it, Hempuli!

What would you recommend as an improvement? What did you REALLY like about it?

I must say I am puzzled by the pick as well.

I was hoping this was a sequel to MFS

pick(ed) bass is quite common in Punk Rock nowadays. Many "top" bands have a pick bassist. you should try and notice

quite strange game, but good work

Thanks for the comments and ratings, folks!

For those of you displeased by our bassist, well, all I can say is that he's fantastic and a superb musician overall...AND that if you are truly dissatisfied, then it will comfort you to know he's moving hours away this coming January, and won't be in the band any more.

I know many bass players who use picks... Like me for example. It all just depends on what kind of tone you want to achieve. I have heard many times that bass players shouldn't use picks, but thats oldschool thinking. The snappy sharp tones you can get with a pick work great in Metal and other heavier styles.

Oh... and the game is pretty fun actually.

Ouch...I'm totally outclassed this week in GOTW territory...!
